About the Jewelry...

The jewelry is organized in Collections, which are named after the artist's favorite literary and theatrical heroines. With the exception of the Non-Heroine Collections (Vintage Jewelry, Miscellaneous Inspired Designs, and Other Jewelry Accessories), each Collection has a basic design that characterizes it. Although there are some basics to the design, the individual pieces are still custom. Various colors and materials make each piece unique. Some jewelry elements are limited edition (no longer available to make new custom pieces), but similar elements may be found and used.

Pricing on individual items depends on several factors, including materials used, design, and time required to make each piece of jewelry.

Special Orders for custom jewelry will be accepted. Please provide basic information, such as desired length, colors to be used, metal preference (if applicable), and price point. If ordering a piece of jewelry to compliment a specific outfit or to wear as a game day accent, please inform the artist. Please note some materials may have to be ordered and/or may be on back-order from the artist's suppliers, which will affect the time it takes to make your custom piece of jewelry.

Most necklaces are approximately 16" (some are closer to 17"). A few styles require that they are shorter or longer than this average. Mostly toggle clasps are used, although some necklaces have barrel or other styles of clasps. Beads are various in nature and may include gemstones, pearls, glass, acrylic, Swarovski Crystals, or others.

Due to inventory turnover, every piece is not available; likewise, many pieces are in stock that are not pictured. Scarlett Collection

The Scarlett Collection... Named for the Southern Heroine of all-time, Scarlett O'Hara, "Gone With The Wind."

The Scarlett Collection has a statement piece (medallion or other) hanging from the center of a strand of beads. Dangling beads hang between the individual beads on the strand. A drop accent can be hung below the statement piece in the center (known as the Scarlett-Drop Necklace).

Materials vary, although metal is a constant; chain may or may not be used.

Stella Collection

The Stella Collection... Named for the fair, modest Heroine, Stella Kowalski, "A Streetcar Named Desire."

The Stella Collection has three main pieces, often accented by smaller pieces. The center piece may be the same or different from the other two and may be a large statement piece; it is connected to the other two pieces by two strands on both sides, the lower of each draping below the upper. These two strands may be chain or strands of beads.

Materials vary.

Ilsa Collection

The Ilsa Collection... Named for the romantic, unforgettable Heroine, Ilsa Lund, "Casablanca."

The Ilsa Collection has large pieces with smaller accents strung on wire and woven through chain. This pattern is repeated at least 3-5 times, depending on the necklace. Occasionally, smaller pieces are the "center" pieces of the bead groupings, in order to lighten the look of the necklace, and alternating with the larger center piece groupings. (Both styles are pictured below.)

Materials vary, although cut glass or acrylic is often used as the main center pieces. Wire and chain are both used.

Daisy Collection

The Daisy Collection... Named for the aristocratic, pampered Heroine, Daisy Buchanan, "The Great Gatsby."

The Daisy Collection has at least three large floral-type pieces ~ all of which are different from each other in nature (if three) ~ strung on a chain.

Materials vary. Floral brooches (or medallions) are often used as the statement pieces.

Miss Melly Collection

The Miss Melly Collection... Named for the quiet Southern Heroine, Melanie Hamilton Wilkes ~ better known as Miss Melly to the Windies out there ~ "Gone With The Wind."

The Miss Melly Collection has three large pieces symmetrically placed, accented by at least two other beads, and strung with chain.

Materials vary, although the large pieces are often cut glass, gemstone, or occasionally acrylic.

Blanche Collection

The Blanche Collection... Named for the attractive, pretentious Heroine, Blanche Dubois, "A Streetcar Named Desire."

The Blanche Collection is recognizable as the collection with the clasp (which is decorative in nature) in the front of the necklace, used as an accent piece in the center. A drop hangs from the clasp and may or may not resemble the decorative beading on the chain of the necklace.

Materials vary.

Sweet Charlotte Collection

The Sweet Charlotte Collection... Named for the strong-willed, reclusive Heroine, Charlotte Hollis, "Hush... Hush, Sweet Charlotte."

The Sweet Charlotte Collection has three large pieces symmetrically placed, accented by at least two other beads, and strung with chain.

Materials vary, although the large pieces are a smooth glass. Gemstones and cut glass are often used as accents.

Pearl Collection

The Pearl Collection... Named for the always-changing, enigmatic, human embodiment of the scarlet letter, Pearl Prynne, "The Scarlet Letter."

The Pearl Collection has various pearl designs with occasional accents.

Materials are pearl or pearl-like in nature, with various accents. Most pearls are glass or genuine pearls (such as seed pearls), and occasionally acrylic pearls are used as accents. Pieces are on chain, strung, and/or hand-knotted.

Vintage Jewelry

Vintage Jewelry... Named for the vintage pieces that have been broken down in order to make this collection of jewelry.

All Vintage Jewelry is Limited Edition, and most pieces are Original, One-of-a-Kind items. This collection is perfect for those looking for that special necklace for a special occasion or heirloom jewelry.

Materials vary.

Miscellaneous Inspired Designs

Miscellaneous Inspired Designs... Named for the miscellaneous nature of this collection of jewelry.

This collection is a collection all of its own, because the pieces do not belong in another specific collection. There is no specific "design" for this jewelry. Most are Original, one-of-a-kind pieces, although some may have one or two duplicates.

Materials vary.
